As you learn more about the Hatchwise experience you will realize that there are many things that you can do to get the results that you would like from your contest. From leaving feedback to writing your contest brief, you are 100% in control of your contest results.
The first step to starting your Hatchwise contest is selecting your contest type and filling in the brief. But the second step is just as important, And that is the one after your contest is active. Once your contest is active we always recommend that you log into your account immediately to review the contest. Take a good look at it and make sure that everything looks correct.
Once your contest is active you can upload images to the contest brief for the creatives to use as a reference.
Does this help? Absolutely. As graphic artists, it is incredibly helpful for our creatives to be able to visualize things. By seeing the examples that you give them, it will help them have a more accurate idea of what you have in mind with your logo or graphic design.
Don’t worry, it can be anything as simple as a logo, pictures with a color scheme that you like, or just a design or sketch that you saw somewhere.
Any of those will help the creatives to get a better idea of what you are looking for with your final design.
How about if you are having your logo re-designed? If you already have a logo and simply want the Hatchwise creatives to give it a refresh by re-designing it then it’s incredibly important that you upload your previous logo for the designers to view. This will help them in seeing what you did and didn’t like about your old logo.
How to upload images to your contest brief
- First, make sure that you are logged into your Hatchwise account.
- Go to “My active contests” in your account.
- Click on your contest name.
- Click near the top of the page, where it says “Brief”.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and there will be a place to upload your JPEG.
