What kind of graphic design can I get from Hatchwise?
Logos and brand identity, website and landing page design, business cards and stationery, brochures, banner ads, apparel graphics, packaging, icons, illustration and other custom graphic design, plus naming work such as company names, product names, domain names, slogans and taglines. Hatchwise does not cover video, copywriting, motion or web development.
How much does a design project cost?
Logo projects start at $99, all inclusive, and other categories start at their own package price. Every package price includes a $49 listing fee plus the prize paid to the winning creative, and all current package prices are listed on the pricing page.
How is this different from hiring one graphic designer?
Instead of one designer's interpretation of your brief, you see original concepts from many professional creatives and compare finished work rather than portfolios. You only award the direction you actually want.
How long does a project take?
A standard project has a guaranteed 10 day entry window, and you can award a winner at any time while it is active, so it can finish as soon as you see work you like. Once a contest ends you can extend it for a small fee per extra day, free on Gold and Custom tiers and on Hatchwise Unlimited. The 48 Hour Rush upgrade returns entries in 48 hours.
Who owns the finished design?
You do. When you award a winner, full commercial rights and the source files transfer to you, so you can trademark, print and publish the work with no further licence.
What if none of the entries work for me?
Every project is backed by our money back guarantee. If you do not receive at least the number of entries included in your package, you can request a full refund within 14 days of your submission period ending, once the project has run its full length.
