Bring real content
Layout is content shaped. Final or near final copy, your images, and the format, meaning trim size, fold and page count, are what let a designer produce something you can send to a printer rather than a pretty template full of placeholder text.
Print ready by default
Files are prepared for commercial printing with bleed, and you receive the layered source file so a printer or a designer can make late adjustments. If you also need a matching flyer or one pager, add it after the award as an additional design at $100.
Files, rights and payment
On award you receive the layered source file plus JPG, PNG, TIFF, EPS and PDF, and full commercial rights transfer to you. Designers are paid the prize on the 1st and the 14th of each month via PayPal. Additional pieces are available at $100 each from the winning designer after the award.
Timing, upgrades and the guarantee
Award at any time while the contest is running: the 10 day window is the guaranteed period for entries, not a wait. A 48 Hour Rush speeds entries up, blind and private options limit who sees what, and extensions cost a small fee per day, free on Gold and Custom tiers and on Hatchwise Unlimited. If a contest runs in full, misses your package minimum and no winner is awarded, the money back guarantee applies within 14 days of the submission period ending.
