Some Badass Designs

This is an awesome contest that’s receiving many interesting and creative entries. We’re getting the opportunity to see dozens of amazing entries, ranging in different styles and creativity. This client requested a new logo for their company, “Badass Tools”. In this blog post, we’ll talk about what the client requested and take a look at a few of the entries that they received. 

What Was Requested 

Badass Tools is a tool blade manufacturer that specializes in blades and bits. They create badass products that are different from what you find elsewhere. They requested that the colors be included, but other than that they left it up to the creatives. 

The logo will be used on merchandise, online, and print. They requested lime green for the background and started receiving entries! Entries are still coming in, but here are some of our favorites from the ones already given!  

This logo option is different from the others given, using a cartoon above the company name. The creative included the lime green color for the background as requested from the client and a saw that the cartoon was inside of. This entry is an exceptional example of a simple and fun logo. 

Now here’s an entry that stands out from the others! This entry catches your eye instantly and puts a unique spin on the contest request. The creative included a touch of color in their entry, something that not many entries in this contest have. This entry stands out for its creativity and its differences from the other entries. 

Now, this is one interesting design! This entry uses a saw blade as the hair for the cartoon, putting an interesting twist on the company name and meaning. The name is in bold and stands out against the lime green background, making it more pronounced. Between the font and interesting cartoon design, this entry is certainly creative!
