A logo is a visual representation of a product, organization, business, or person. They are repeated pictures used specifically for brand recognition. There are factors that have an impact on whether or not you have a successful logo.
A logo can use simplicity to convey what it is representing, or it can be rather complex, with a variety of symbols, colors, and textures woven into a distinctive emblem.
Either way, a logo must be easily recognizable to people.
Logos need to work on any scale, large or small. Colors also play a significant role in attracting an audience. A logo helps push a brand and is a necessary tool to connect to an audience and consumers.

Today’s design contest spotlight features a new logo Hatchwise created for a brand new skincare business called Restore and Refresh.
The client requested a simple, circular design, with possibly a splash of color to make it stand out.
We sifted through the many pages of contest submissions (a grand total of 263, by the way) and selected just a few to share with you.

At Hatchwise, we are always thrilled to witness projects being run, especially when we get to see the creative designs of our talented designers.
This project for Black Girl Mojo was no exception; from the moment we saw it, we knew we had to share it with our readers. After viewing the project entries submitted, we chose our top ten favorites and compiled them in this blog post.
Read on below to see our ten favorite entries from the contest and the winning result for the contest!

Ask most Americans to start listing all the fast-food chains they could think of, and Taco Bell would probably be in the first five. According to the Top 500 Chain Restaurant Report conducted by Technomic, it is currently the fourth-largest fast-food chain in the country.
It’s impossible to think of Taco Bell without calling to mind the brand’s distinctive logo. However, the Mission-style bell that makes your mouth start to water at the thought of Mexican-inspired fast food wasn’t introduced until more than 30 years after the company was initially founded.
So what did the Taco Bell logo originally look like? And why and how did it change? Learn more about the evolution of Taco Bell’s logo below.
