Featured Design Contest: Shopovalue – Company Logo

We see a variety of unique and interesting contests here at Hatchwise and we always love to explore them further. This contest was for a company that was looking for a new logo for their business. In their creative brief, they said that they’d like the design to be fun and friendly. They requested that the colors be orange and black and said that the logo would be used online. Here we’ll take a look at what entries were submitted to the contest and what the client chose as a final result! 

This entry uses black and orange for the colors as the client requested. The logo shows a shopping cart above the company name, with a computer mouse on the end of the shopping cart. Half of the company name is in black while the other half is in orange. The logo does an excellent way of conveying that the company is online shopping while still keeping it simplistic. 

This logo uses a unique font and a signature look that helps it stand out. Black is the primary color, with only a small portion of the design being in orange. This logo has an elegant look and is simple, using merely the company name for the whole design instead of complicating it with more. 

This logo entry uses the requested colors, using a shopping cart for the design on the left. The shopping cart incorporates a dollar sign to show what the business does. The logo is simple and clean, easily showing what the company does while still keeping it straightforward and simplistic. 

This logo stands out for its unique look, showing an oval in the back with both orange and black used. The name is shown in the front with an elegant font that shows makes it more stylish. This logo is not only different from the others, but it shows a unique take on the logo request which is more professional and sleek than the others. 

This logo shows the company name with a square box to the right encasing half of the letters. The box is orange while the letters are black on a white background. The logo is straight to the point and doesn’t include many elements. Only including the name and the square on the end, it takes a unique and clean take on the request. 

This entry uses the name at the center, with an orange shopping bag above it. The name is in a sleek font and large letters that instantly jump out at you. The letters are in black while the design is displayed on a white background. The design is simple and has a straightforward design. 

This entry uses a shopping cart in the center of the name, with half of the design orange and half black. The shopping cart is in the center and the creative uses the two wheels at the bottom as the two ‘o’s in the company name. The company name uses a round font and the ‘p’ in the name is shown inside of the cart. 

The Result 

After looking through all the entries submitted and rating them, the client finally decided on a winning entry to use as their new company logo. The winning entry is featured above, showing a sleek logo on a black mockup background. The logo elegantly features a swan above the company name which is in thin letters. The logo uses orange and white with a black background. This contest was unique and exciting to see the result!
