Featured Design Contest: Outdoor Box Club – Monthly Subscription Box Logo

It’s always fascinating to see what contests are submitted by clients and what the final results for clients are. One of the most interesting contests that we saw so far and that received amazing results is this one. This client received a total of thirty-eight designs from our talented creatives and got to choose from unique entries. In this blog post, we’ll dive into the details of this contest! 

About The Company 

Outdoor Box Club is a company that provides 1 – 5 outdoor accessories monthly to customer’s doorsteps. Every month customers can have these boxes shipped directly to their house for $55 monthly. They were looking for a logo that would clearly tell customers what they did while also incorporating the box idea into it. 

What Was Requested 

They requested a new logo for their company and gave ideas in their contest brief of what to include. They wanted the logo to have an outdoor theme and said that it should include a box. Then they proceeded to provide ideas for the logo in their contest brief, telling creatives what else they would like included. They mentioned mountains, fishing, hiking, or something being delivered in a box. 

The Entries 

This contest received many unique entries from creatives and we’ve gathered our top favorites below. 

This entry showed a unique perspective on the company’s request, using only two colors in the design. To the left of the company name (shown in blue and grey) is a mountain illustrated in a box. This entry is simplistic and artistically uses only two colors. 

This creative entry features a fisherman standing on top of a box filled with water. His fishing line is coming out to hook around the ‘o’ and the letters are in three different colors. Included on the box is a mountain, featuring a hiker climbing it behind. This logo features creativeness and color. 

This creative took another approach with their entry, using an earthy green color and black for their entry. Above the company name is a box, showing a mountain in the bottom part and trees in grey above. This entry is different from the other listed for its color scheme and creative design. 

The Result 

This entry included all elements that the client requested. It shows what the company does and has interesting colors and elements included. Congratulations to the creative, GianCarloAlmonte, who won this contest!
