After the massive success of last year’s first ever Hatchie Awards we’ve decided to do it again!
Now is the time for you to nominate your FAVORITE design that you created and entered into a Hatchwise contest last year. Voting is open to the public and the winner gets $500!
This contest is open to all creatives who have submitted an original custom design entry to Hatchwise between 1/01/2020 and 4/14/2021.
If you qualify for the contest simply submit the entry you are most proud of in the form below to be entered into the contest.
- Only designs submitted to creative contests on Hatchwise can be entered
- Only entries from public Hatchwise contests can be nominated (no private contest entries).
- Award payment will be made via Paypal to the payment account on record in the Hatchwise account of the designer who created the original entry.
- Voting will take place on social media and on Hatchwise.com.
- Winner gets the title and $500 cash via Paypal.
- One entry per designer.
- Entry subject to final approval of Hatchwise staff.

In their words:
"This client asked for a vintage-retro feel for a clothing label with fonts that are not normal. I wanted to create a design in a vintage illustration style that elevated an apparel range to a perceived price point. The colouring is natural and akin to the outdoor feeling we want to convey to the discoverable market that wanted to say they are Canadian with and associated with the lumberjack. The hand-illustrated typeface is a nice touch that creates a refined and aspirational look. Two colours have been used in this design and it can also translate into a one colour design and can be used on any coloured background, the flexibility of an apparel design must be versatile so it can go on all elements of clothing and peripherals, screen printed, embroidered and in any applique style which this design accomplishes."
