Comments for entry # 22610
I have to make a checklist and check each one off when I'm through, lol. Otherwise, I would probably miss one! : ) Back to work...
I was studying all your previous entries and I just saw something. (Anoter idea.)
The tree arcs at the limb.
What about this: How about if the letter in the limbs arc'd to. Snip off the long twig on "A" and "R"???
This would give the appearance of arc over the letter below.
Maybe its nothing, maybe it's not.
Don't freak when you see all this. I would not put this amount of thought into this graphic if I did not think is was worth it.
This is looking sweet. I'm determined to make this look awesome. I think one more round of tweaks should do it. Here goes: 1. The first limb on the left (tiny one) needs a smide of brown before it tails off to back and the leaf. 2. The left of the far right - put it on the tip of the branch at the far right instead of laying there. 3. The branch hanging down from the "R". Add brown before it stops. (Now this is radical so say this version first.) Knock off the two leaves and just stop it like a limb as the others. Knock the leaf off the bottom of the "S" too. (Do you see what we are doing. Deliniating the twig name from the rest of the name by color.) 4. How about a leaf on the end of the twip at the top in front of the beetle. 5. In the name "Notions.com" - get rid of the black with green in the shadows of the three "O"'s at the top and the leaf dotting the "i". 6. The "A" in the twig. Make the crossover twig for that letter flow between twig to twig without that black outline. (It looks pretzeled.) Same with the "E" just a little over halfway down. 7. The "U" has a black etched mark on the bottom right that can go. 8. I still would like to see those black clumps on the side edges of both side of the book to show black etchings with white. 9. The butterfly: Is the yellow spot in the back tail suppose to be there. And if so bigger? Also, what about the curved lines at the top that dead end on both sides of the wing. Do they need to be there? 10. The beetle: Red up the right side where that black blot is unless antoher small circle can be put in. NOW: If you disagree with any of these let me know. I'm taking a bit of the creativity out of this, I know. I just feel this is the right direction to up the bar on this pet project. If you look back at the original version and this one, it's an impressive difference already.
Fast. Awesome. Affordable
