Maybe even leave the name where it is without the space between the names and pull the main yellow of the sun down below it and let the glow overlap it???
Okay, here's what we think. 1. The girl in the other graphic was too big, but this girl is in the right position and is the right size. What we need is the "definition" of this girl like the other one. 2. Eliminate the space between "Natures" and "Notions" and pull it down right below the bright part of the sun and right above the top of the far conifer tree. That's it. We may pull the sun below the name later if it looks weird by itself. You see the problem is that you can't see the "band" name well from a distance with the sun as a background. Glow part is okay though.
Okie Dokie! :) I'll try some more stuff...I just submitted something I played around with. Just for fun... ;) If you can tell I love this stuff, that's why I'm a graphic designer.
I'll bounce this off my daughter. Initial observations: 1. The girl's hair is the right color brown/auburn as is the rest. 2. The butterfly is eactly where I would have put it. 3. I'm not sure I like the girl blocking that tree. 4. I'm not sure I like the girl facing the sun, though its cute. You'd think she'd use the sun for light to read and the rock to rest here bottom back on. Also, if the book is spun around with here you can etch on the cover. As to what I'm not sure yet. 5. (This bothers me the most) The girl looks like she's melting away like butter. I like vaugueness, but in this case you have decent detail in butterfly, trees, grass, but the not the girl. The bow in her hair is muttled for example. 6. Name looks better, for now. 7. Would that butterfly cast a shadow on the rock? Not sure at that angle. Overall, you are capturing the feel.
