Hi! 

First of all we'd like to let you know that we will have updates in our public comments on what we like and what we don't like. It will give you and updated idea of what works for us and what doesn't. Please read this brief and also look at our comments for updates. Thanks!

We are a Canadian-born company rebranding our property services business and would like a fresh, new logo! At Canadiana Property Services we offer house cleaning, window cleaning, snow removal, junk removal among other property management services. 

Here's a bit about us. Canadiana is a professional company with years of experience in the industry. We pride ourselves on efficient and honest work and our results speak volumes to this.  We strive to create a company that not only provides fair wages and prioritizes employee retention but also brings back the essence of old-school customer service—where every interaction is infused with empathy, understanding, and a genuine desire to make lives easier.Driven by the belief that serving people goes beyond transactions, we embarked on a journey to build a company that fosters genuine connections, uplifts communities, and enhances the quality of life for all involved.

Please note the spelling of 'Canadiana' as it might be easily confused with Canadian, which is not the name of our company.

We want our logo to be fresh, hip, clean and simple. The logo will be used primarily for online content, marketing materials and clothing. 

Because we will be using the logo in many different ways it needs to be clear and concise, easily understood when made small for things like business cards. We also want this logo to stand out and to be recognizable in our community. 

We are looking for something more exciting than a simple word mark. We also don't want a maple leaf as part of our logo.

I've attached a brand manual here. This is a mockup brand manual to show the direction we are headed with brand colors, fonts, mission statement, etc. Please know we are not tied to the fonts we have chosen, so feel free to be creative when it comes to using fonts to create our logo.

We have recently run a contest with Hatchwise where we had our mascot illustrated, which will be a Beaver. For us, the beaver communicates a sense of efficiency, productivity, wisdom, friendliness and is also a Canadian icon. I've attached screenshots of the beaver we chose as our contest winner for your reference.
