More details to focus the naming submissions When I say "obvious but not boring", I mean the name makes its obvious to understand what the company is about which is : a trustworthy provider of flats for foreigners in Madrid. Keep on the great work !!

GENERAL COMMENT TO FOCUS FURTHER SUBMISSIONS More and more I am leaning towards the solution of an obvious but not boring name. This means that you can relate directly the name to the business, but still the name is memorable because different than the boring "rent a flat" madrid. Some good examples submitted are: flataway, flatster, flatout rentals, all abroad flats. All here are flat-linked, but apart/home... can be used. Also, I think words too obiously related to students cannot be used. The fact is students do not like marketing being directed to them this way: "dear young student...." let's say the brand has to appeal to student without saying directly in its name "for students". I hope this helps. Keep on the great work!!

GENERAL COMMENT: The company name should not include any kind of element relating to Spain and boxing the company. The objective is to find a name which conveys the main business ideas and add it "Madrid". This way in the future other countries can be developped. Thanks ! REMINDER 2: No spanish words please! This is for foreign customers with no idea about spanish sometimes. And even if they know some words, they are looking for something looking "foreign" like they are - it will give them the impression that they're talking to a more "trustworthy" source because this company will speak their own language and will have the same culture. REMINDER: As the company target customers are foreigners, the name can't be in spanish - or if in Spanish should be obvious for any english speaking person.

General comment #1 I value creative submissions. But please do also take into account that the name must make sense to the target customer: students from all over the world ready to rent a flat by internet to a trustworthy brand. Therefore, the name should be differenciated, but still evoke the meanings and feelings linked with home/flat/room/apartment and/or renting. Keep on thinking outside the box but within this frame please! Thanks!

VERY IMPORTANT - CONTEST SCORING METHOD I'm using the Hatchwise scoring system as follows: 1 - negative reaction to something in the name 2 - good name, but missing the mark conceptually 3 - right components but the name doesn't work 4 - right components, name works, but maybe not quite there. 5 - hooray

Thank you for the first submissions ! Good stuff on the creative side. I guess we need to insist on creative names that still make people my target segment (students) about flat, trust, modern, easy. I like Studomio, but still stresses too much the student part. we're not really sure if we're talking about flats or studies.

You will find enclosed the shortlist I came up with initially (the idea was"flat" with something else, either before or after) please be more creative: - Flatvisa: cool but people would eventually think in the visa credit card idea and not the idea about "your visa (like the thing in your passport to your flat abroad" - Flatenco: half way between Flat and Flamenco - underlines the fact company will be in spain, and sounds like flatandco. This is the reason why I'm holding this contest: I need creative submissions which will make sense to my target segment (exchange students willing to get a flat from abroad).
