When looking for a new home, it is imperative to find a realtor who is passionate about her field and whose number one priority is to help you find the perfect place. Finding a quality realtor isn’t about looking for someone who can show you a house, but someone you will have a personal relationship with to assist you in making that house a home. It is essential that you and your realtor understand each other and the background of one another to develop that in depth, trustworthy connection. Nicole Hanson is the dependable realtor who is here to make your realty dreams a reality. Nicole Hanson has lived in Northwest Indiana her entire life. She grew up in DeMotte and has resided in the Griffith area for seven years. Even though she is well traveled, she knows in her heart that Northwest Indiana is the only place she will call home. Nicole is a devoted wife and mother of twin girls, Callie and Violet. In 2008, she met her future husband on Match.com and knew they were destined to be together since the second date. They said “I do” in 2010 and one month later had the exciting news of expecting twins! Carrying twins was not an easy feat for Nicole. She became very asthmatic and suffered from gestational diabetes. If this wasn’t enough, she also went into preterm labor four times and was placed on bed rest during her pregnancy. It may have been a very trying time, but beautiful twin girls were the wonderful outcome making it worth all she went through. Included in their caring household are four family dogs: Izzy, Brody, Hanis, and Gracie, and a betta named Old Blue. Her husband, an architect, shares the same love of houses just as Nicole does. This love of houses surrounds Nicole not only in the work place, but in her personal life and is a bond that unites her with her husband and others. When she has free time, Nicole loves to travel and try all the different experiences the world has to offer. She has traveled to half the United States and plans to continue with the traveling adventures any chance she gets. So far, her favorite place to visit was Hawaii where she fell in love with whale watching in the deep navy blue ocean, helicopter tours, and snorkeling. It was a remarkable site seeing the huge humpback whales so close to the boat. With all the traveling she does, Nicole certainly understands the satisfaction of coming back to the comfort of one’s own home. When she isn’t globetrotting, Nicole brings out her inner foodie. She delights in learning from cooking shows and creates delicious, healthy meals for her family and friends. Her latest specialty in tantalizing the taste buds is parmesan crusted tilapia with a chili butter sauce! Finding the perfect home isn’t an unfamiliar process to Nicole, even outside of her realty work. She bought and renovated her first home when she was 26 years old. When she and her husband decided to look for the family household to raise their children and “furry family,” it took them over a year of searching for the precise home. They finally found a VA foreclosure and remodeled this house as well. Before becoming a realtor, Nicole spent many years in retail services. Armed with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Purdue University, she started her retail career as an Inventory Manager at Gateway Computers in 2000 and stayed here until 2004. During 2004, Nicole recognized her spark for real estate and began working as a part time real estate agent. She transitioned to a job as Administrative Manager of Lowes Home Improvement stores from 2005-2006. Spending all that time surrounded by the knowledge of home improvement, she discovered her passion and knack for renovation. This know how assisted her in renovating her first home, and later with her VA foreclosure house. Always willing to try something new and to better improve her career goals, Nicole took a job as General Manager of PETCO in 2006 where her fondness and love for animals flourished. It was in 2013 that Nicole decided to combine all these enjoyments and goals into a full time career in Real Estate. With Nicole Hanson’s diverse background, she is the epitome of realtors to support and service anyone looking for a new home. Whether you are a first time home buyer, casual or professional renovator, or looking for that ideal home for yourself, children, and pets, Nicole is the person you want to turn your realty dreams into a reality.
