Small, Modern Family Law Firm Seeking Standout Logo for initial launch

Who we are:

Always In Your Best Interest

Describe your company and organization and target audience.

Family law (divorce) attorney. Small, boutique firm that combines modern technology with the classic, professional practice of law by an experienced professional to deliver efficient and comprehensive legal solutions to our clients. Target audience is adults (approximately 25 to 55 years of age), with middle to high income who are seeking legal representation in a family law (divorce) case.

Logo will go on website, business cards and letterhead. We are a small legal office in Asheville, NC so the smokey mountains are prime landscape in the area. The downtown of the city sitting in the mountains is an often photographed site and is very attractive. A photo can be found here: http://amplified-media.com/portfolio-item/downtown-asheville-skyline

The design should have the following:

The firm name is Vorhis Legal, PLLC. I would like to see some logos with no other text than that and a few logos that also include the words "Family Law". Some general comments on the design:

I like deep/dark blues and greens which is consistent with the natural beauty of the area, but you don't have to use those colors if you have another idea. The logo should go well on a white background as it will be on paper and the website with have a clean, crisp look that uses white as a primary background color.

I also liked some of the creative designs found here: https://99designs.com/blog/creative-inspiration/law-firm-logos/ but please don't copy any particular design too closely.

This logo will be used for:

Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
Online (website, online advertising, banner ads etc.)
Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)
Television/screen

We do not want this in the entries:

Nothing too over-the-top, like two kids being pulled apart.
