Describe your company and organization and target audience

We're looking for a redesign of our community Little League logo. This logo will be used across all age divisions as a patch and possibly hats as well as on signage, merchandise, decals, etc. We would like a logo that we can take the word Orion out of and use across the front of jerseys and shirts. We hope this logo will become synonymous with our little League program and the community it represents.

The design should have the following

Strong connection to the sports of baseball/softball as well as a connection to the community of Orion, Illinois. Our community has a well-known water tower and church spire that give our town its defining "skyline" which show up in the village's official logo. If those are able to be incorporated without overwhelming the design it could be real cool.

This logo will be used for

• Online (Website, facebook etc.)
• Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
• Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
• Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)

This design should not have this in the entries

We'd like to avoid anything overly "cartoonish" and stick with a striking design, if possible.

What style of logo would you like?

Colors to use in the design

The school colors of our community are scarlet (red), black, and white. Silver may also be used for accenting and contrast. We'd like to stay true to those colors as members of our community have clothing, etc. in those colors already. That said, a design that can work in a monochromatic white/silver/black for lower divisions that wear multi-colored shirts would be nice.
