We provide a website that allows users to enter information that will calculate their relative fitness grade on a 4.0 Scale (i.e. 3.0 is a B). There will be a whole community built to support this effort

Target audience:

Target audience is Web 2.0 aware (18 - 39) that enjoy social networking about topics that interest them (twitter community) in this case fitness & nutrition tracking.

What should come to a customers mind when they see the logo:

A 360 degree view of their fitness (in nutrition, life balance, water, activity).

What should not be in the design:

Skip individual sports or weights or yoga type.

How will the logo be the used:

The logo will be used on the website, on stationary/business cards and promo items like water bottles.

The design should have the following:

200 x 60 on Transparent Canvas. Should encompass Fitness & Nutrition Tracking themes. This is a Tracker Tool Community so emphasis should be on the utility of the site versus the normal fitness trainer type logos.
