Moonshine Society is a female fronted blues/roots rock band in Washington, DC. The band is on the younger side for a blues band, high energy, and modern. About Moonshine Society: "A Don't Miss Show"- Delta Airlines Sky Magazine. American Blues Scene- Blues Top 5 Chart. Three members of the Blues Hall of Fame. Multiple Wammie nominations. Meet this young acclaimed band redefining the blues genre for a new generation.  Moonshine Society delivers roots rock, blues, and old school R&B in a style guaranteed to keep audiences dancing, heads nodding, and the drinks flowing. Often compared to Susan Tedeschi, Bonnie Raitt, and Alabama Shakes, this is a powerful band of musicians from around the world. The band has made their way around the world including venues throughout US, Cuba, and China, landing them titles such as #1 Blues/Jazz Band in Shanghai" in TimeOut Magazine, "Top Don't Miss Show" from Delta Airlines Sky Magazine, and more. In 2012, three members were inducted in to the Blues Hall of Fame. Now featured on many major, college, internet and XM stations. Moonshine Society and its members have performed and recorded with artists such as John Mayer, The Nighthawks, George Clinton & Funkadelic, Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, Peaches, Everclear, Roomful of Blues, Brian Eno, Pinetop Perkins, Tab Benoit, Johnny Winter, Shemekia Copeland, Bo Diddley, RZA, Tab Benoit, Allen Toussaint and more. Moonshine Society's debut album Live in Shanghai was released independently in late 2011 and recorded at the House of Blues and Jazz (Shanghai, China) after Chinese film star Lin Dong Fu (owner of the club) personally selected and invited the band for a three month stay. In 2012, the band and album were nominated for two Wammies (Best Blues/Trad. R&B band and Best Blues/Trad. R&B album) and named in the Top 3 Fan Favorites in Washington, DC. In 2013, lead singer Black Betty received a Wammie nomination for Best Blues/Trad. R&B Female Vocalist. Although a favorite at many college rock venues, they've really made waves in the international blues scene thrilling audiences at festivals with a fresh, younger take on the classic American roots style.  Blues enthusiasts, college kids, burlesque lovers, and even biker bar regulars come together on the dance floors of a Moonshine Society show. "They're absolutely fantastic and innovative. The design should have the following

We're looking for a great looking Band Name logo that can be printed on a drum head (and easily read from the audience), used on show posters, website, etc. -Must include full band name -Can include additional graphics (especially if there's an option of full logo and text only for various printing needs). -Please don't use images of mason jars or hillbillies. -This is not a bluegrass or acoustic band. This is a modern, electric blues band. -Please don't use images of guitars/instruments unless it's really, fantastically, artistically done. (No clipart guitars.)
