Background

We are witnessing the next technological revolution with assets, currencies and now even businesses becoming ‘tokenized’ to make capital raising and general business practices a lot easier, cheaper and overall more efficient.

These tokens require new exchanges to be built to offer trading and liquidity to those that want to enter into this new digital ecosystem. To date there have been many exchanges - over 10,000 - that have been set up to trade digital assets as the industry has been progressing. Although there has been many new exchanges built, we are yet to see a fully regulated exchange built into an ecosystem that has partnered with a central bank to digitize their national fiat currency.

Liquidus is the world's first regulated digital asset exchange & corporate registry solution designed to bring liquidity, efficiency, transparency and security to economies

Liquidus will launch in the Bahamas with a pilot starting in April 2019. Leveraging the strength of blockchain, Liquidus will provide the Bahamas with an ecosystem where company incorporation is tokenized from the beginning and valued in a traditional manner by valuing the token against assets in the company, IP and cash in the bank. Liquidus solutions will eventually evolve to include a full ecosystem of autonomous taxation and auditing as well as a legislative system that will make capital raising and M&A a very fluid process. Liquidus will be flexible enough to allow digital companies from outside the ecosystem to come and trade within the regulated digital exchange.


What We Are Building Initial focus
Digital asset exchange (‘think’ Binance) that operates in a regulated environment that will among many other features the capability to exchange Fiat currency i.e USD for digital currency i.e. Bitcoin and vice versa
Corporate Registry (‘think’ Polymath) that will enable companies to digitize their corporate assets i.e. Cash, property etc into tokens that they can sell on an exchange.
National Digital Currency that will enable governments to provide a ‘low friction’ (paper based money = high friction) digital currency to its citizens which will in turn help with eliminating corruption (digital currency = trackable spending) and providing a financial solution to the unbanked people of the population. Name Origin: “Liquidus” means “Flowing” in Latin
Why Flowing: One of the company’s aims is to build new economies by freeing up assets that have been traditionally ‘illiquid’. By making these assets more liquid will increase the flow of funds in an economy and contribute to increasing a country’s GDP
Liquid -> all our assets become seamless transactions, almost like liquids/ fluids. It's got a nice flow. It's fast, efficient.
us -> We. Us as humans / sapiens. Us Sapiens, as a species. Us as a whole. We are liquifying ourselves, our net worth.
