Describe your company and organization and target audience

This company is a non-profit organization aimed at providing safe-haven and adoption services for cats and dogs retired from research studies. Our target audience is animal lovers and animal rights advocates. We will also have an educational blog, written by a scientist, that will focus on the new alternative non-animal models being developed across the globe. We will be based in the Los Angeles area and will obtain animals from local research institutions in the California area.

The design should have the following

A dog paw/leg taking a step out of the confines of a cage and onto grass/nature. We want it to be emotional but simple. It should symbolize the transition from captivity to freedom for animals that have spent their lives in cages while being used for research.

This logo will be used for

• Online (Website, facebook etc.)
• Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
• Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)

This design should not have this in the entries

What style of logo would you like?

Colors to use in the design

Orange and blue, or other bright colors. I prefer the background white.
