Describe your company and organization and target audience

We are a parent-teacher-student-association (PTSA) in the Seattle area for an elementary school. Schools themselves are not allowed to fundraise, so our volunteer organization is the fundraising arm of the school, supporting many programs and events for the kids. The logo we need is for an event that will occur every other year, and replaces our more formal auction. We need as many parents as possible to attend and donate at the event. Our mascot is the Grizzly, hence the name "Grizzlies Night In."

The design should have the following

The logo should represent the school's community, which is located in the Cascade foothills. We would love to see trees, mountains, and of course, a bear. We want to capture a celebratory event that is accessible to all families (not strictly formal). I envision a night sky or stars, mountains and/or trees, and a bear, perhaps looking up at the stars. The event is a fundraiser for programs that support kids' learning and opportunities for enrichment, so we could capture that the bear is "reaching for the stars" or "dreaming big." Many of our families are in tech (nearby are Microsoft, Expedia, and Amazon) so we want a sophisticated logo that isn't directed at children, but rather at their parents. I have seen some that have almost a watercolor wash with stars "cut out" above the logo

• Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)

This design should not have this in the entries

Nothing too childish. I know it is difficult to imagine a bear that is geared for adults, but it is doable!
