New brand for UK and Europe needs an identity with Logo and Icon

CARA-LITE is a new, UK/EU brand for a current U.S. product, Azdel (aka Azdel Onboard). It is a lightweight composite panel used as a layer in the lamination of RV (recreational vehicle) walls. In the UK and in Europe, "caravan" is the common term for RV, hence the name.

We have a decent and growing market share in the US for this application, and are trying to break into UK/EU. This logo will be seen on marketing materials and a new (eventual) website by RV/caravan manufacturers, dealers, independent wall laminators and caravan owners.

A green replacement to lauan plywood, Cara-Lite should be pushed by manufacturers and dealers as a superior alternative.

The design should have the following:

It could be what I've read is called a "wordmark" design or could also be "flat". Should convey simplicity, but also quality, affordability and light weight, without being too plain. The logo could be the brand name itself, or could incorporate a simple symbol next to or embedded in the name.

The C and L should probably be in caps, but we'll consider alternatives that work. Other letters could be all caps, small caps or lower. There should be some type of hyphen, dot, or other minor divider between CARA and LITE. It seems a slightly traditional font is preferred, perhaps sans serif is best, but not boring.

It should catch the attention of would-be caravan buyers in the market countries, so art & font should appeal to that market. If it's possible to have some intuitive obviousness to the logo or a related icon, such that viewers can somewhat figure out what the product is at a glance, that's even better -- but not required.

This logo will be used for:

Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
Online (website, online advertising, banner ads etc.)
Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)

We do not want this in the entries:

Too much detail or 3D appearance. Colors other than what's listed below. Looking for some level of simplicity.
