**Update II - Sorry for changing again. Jumped the gun on starting the contest. I am going to name the new company Barksdale Design Group. Same theme for the logo design, just not going with 'Studio'. Please don't redo any past designs. Changing the text will be simple if I ultimately select one that's already submitted. Thanks!

*Update - I didn't mean to put the '.com' part in there. That's the website, but I don't want the .com in the logo. Sorry about that.

I am an architect and I used to be a builder, as well. I no longer build, so I am changing the company name from Design Build | California to Barksdale Design Group. I am going to retain the house-shaped symbol on the logo, but the name and style of the text is what will change.

Here is my current website that will only be updated to the new company name and some minor changes to the info - designbuild-ca.com

This logo will be used for

Online (Website, facebook etc.)
Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)

Colors to use in the design

The house logo is blue, which I like. The text color should be black or gray. I'll leave that to you.
