Describe your company and organization and target audience

During the celebration of the 60th aniversary of the business founded by my father (art supplies distribution) we are planning to opening an Academy of Art to teach painting (oil, watercolor, carbon, drawing, etc) engraving, sculpturing and perhaps craftmanship techniques. The school will be established in a eighteen century colonial building located downtown Mexico City. As we speak we are developing the strategy, creating the study programs and defining the workshops for every subject. We are thinking to have well known artists as part of our faculty staff. The target audience is basically all people who want to learn and practice the techniques without being interested in receiving an official degree. After testing the waters we may be entering into the formal education programs; right know will be only small courses and workshops.

The design should have the following

It does not have to be too modern or too old, it has to have a combination between both taking into account that the building where the classes are going to take place is an old building with a big patio, flower pots, corridors, archs, beams on the ceiling, stone walls, etc. Therefore, we need to have the right combination between art, history, culture and modernity in digital times.

This logo will be used for

• Online (Website, facebook etc.)
• Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
• Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
• Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)
