Logo format means A do you want to use your logo professioanly or B you dont. If you choose B you should ask just a simple bitmap, but then it means you sont pay what you are looking for Main logo should be in vector format. Example EPS is good and PDF and AI. Those are formats that can be resized without quality loss, Those are the formats you can send to print companyes etc. Its like a source file of the logo. Secondary the winner should actually give you different types of logos vectour source logos, then bitmap logos like jpg with 72 dpi and jpg with 300 dpi just in case.
