Many former athlete’s struggle with aging and feeling less than their younger selves.  Declining physical abilities, lingering impacts to daily life from old injuries, feelings of isolation, and new priorities and goals requiring new skills and abilities can degrade a former athlete's self-image once they're done with their sport of choice. The Old and Washed Up Athlete’s Association was created because we know that despite all that comes with life after sport, former athletes are the kind of people who will always be competing to be better than they were yesterday. ​ The Old & Washed Up Athlete's Association is a community of former athletes looking to embrace aging and change, while staying inspired, challenged, and empowered in our journey through life after sports. ​The issue is, when our sports careers end, new responsibilities, new priorities, and new focus areas in life require the development of skills other than the physical skills of sport, but many of us struggle to find ways to continue to compete. The Washed Pod is a hub for content created to help former athletes embrace aging and change to continue to compete to be better PEOPLE than we ever were as athletes. Ramen, Eggs, and Plastic Spoons is a content segment on the Washed Pod hub of content for former athletes to explore conversations and topics about Financial Wellness and the “REPS” associated with maintaining Financial Wellness as a former athlete. Straight facts, real dialogue and discussions, and practical practices directly applicable to former athletes of all types, ages, professions, and backgrounds.

The design should have the following

Simple design that incorporates the simplicity of the objects in the name: Ramen, Eggs, and Plastic Spoons. The design should incorporate elements of each object in some capacity, without deliberately putting them obviously into the logo design. The design should contain colors and aesthetic aspects that coincide with the attached Washed Pod logo, Old & Washed Up Athlete’s Association logo, and website.

This logo will be used for

• Online (Website, facebook etc.)
• Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
• Television/screen

This design should not have this in the entries

Obvious incorporation of the objects in the name (Ramen, Eggs, and Plastic Spoons). Looking for simple yet elegant design that has elements of each object without directly showing each in the design.

This is a contest to design a logo for a Podcast and Content segment to be used on all podcast platforms, social media, and YouTube called “Ramen, Eggs, and Plastic Spoons (REPS)”.
