Our target audience is millennials.
nexsub is in stealth mode at the moment. Our business model is to create a Uber like platform for substitute teachers in the childcare/daycare industry.
Child care is a labor intensive, regulated, low wage industry so teachers turn-over is high and it is hard for the childcare operators to recruit new staff, particularly when the economy is good. As a result, most operators would need to access subs. Currently there are some old school temp agencies that provide subs but the cost is high (over head) and quality of the subs is low/unpredictable.
nexsub is the platform where our company will recruit, retain and more importantly, provide the scheduling flexibility to the millennial age subs, which is our target audience. The interaction between the subs and the operators will be all app-based.
