Describe your company and organization and target audience

We are a new company that specializes in comprehensive financial planning for its clients. Our target audience is the pre-retiree and retiree markets.

The design should have the following

FINRA is the government organization that would need to approve the logo. Attached is a logo that I really liked, but FINRA denied it because the bar chart and swoosh in the bottom right could indicate a promise of increasing returns. We like the color scheme of this logo but aren't committed to it in any way. The logo will be be used as a sign as well as logo on customer statements, website, social media. Because it'll be a sign, the color scheme should match the orangish/red brick on the building and the dark brown windows. The sign will be illuminated at night, so we like the idea of the company name being white so it'll stand out with the back light at night. An acronym using the company name is difficult because it all looks like Mrs., but perhaps you can be more creative than us. An acronym or initials aren't necessary. Perhaps you have an idea of some kind of graphic that would work really well.

This logo will be used for

Online (Website, facebook etc.)
Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)

This design should not have this in the entries

We are open to any color or positioning you think would be effective. Again, the sign we are using is already in place from a previous company, so we'd like to use that. The picture attached is a workup from another designer that is hitting a wall since FINRA denied her design. The biggest thing you need to understand is that FINRA will not allow any kind of representation of an increasing market or guaranteed returns.
