We are a Band playing a wide variety of styles with deeply meaningful Lyrics on serious topics.  Our Band name is Longbeard and our first CD will be called Rhymes 4R Thymes.  Our target audience is 18 and over.

We are completely open on ideas, but to help we will list some of our thoughts.

Choice of the right font which we are currently seeing as thick with a long L

A King with a Crown, Beard, Sceptor, in Purple/Silver or Gold

A Pirate with a Skull Beard, 3 Corner hat, 2 crossed Swords maybe on a Flag. Black/Silver maybe White or Red

A Philosopher with Toga in thinking position.  Not sure what Colors work here Grey Toga /Brown Beard

This logo will be used for

• Online (Website, facebook etc.)
• Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
• Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)

This design should not have this in the entries

We are open to ideas.  We want to have an iconic logo that when you look at it you know who we are.  Like the Grateful Dead or Rolling Stones.  We see ourselves as Philosophers more than Pirates or Kings, but we need to see what works.
