His target audience is both personal and commercial real estate clients, living on Vancouver Island - 20-90 years old - Male and female. 

From original creative brief: That Jim has a fresh and professional approach to selling real estate in this West Coast/island life, extensive experience, local knowledge, superior communication/negotiation skills, problem solver, and that he is fun and approachable. Embracing fresh ideas and bold thinking including the fact that we live on the West Coast and on an island Being real and transparent, honesty and trust are the most important to my reputation Being solution oriented & a problem solver Being responsive and available to my clients whenever they need me Obsessing about the details, making sure the sale gets done correctly and on schedule Doing the right thing for the long term, forging long term customer relations Doing what I love and outsourcing everything else or delegation to my admin assistant Being myself, and living, loving, laughing with my dogs along the journey.

The design should have the following

We need a logo for a Real Estate agent based on Vancouver Island. He wants to stand out from other "corporate" looking real estate agents and have elements of the "island life" incorporated into his brand. Jim likes his current "house" logo as it's simple and to the point. Just not modern and fresh enough. We would like to use black and white for now - primary logo being black. We would really love to see the current Vancouver Island concept integrated with a better house design potentially. The design should communicate - friendly, approachable, trustworthy but also professional. I will submit current logo designs that have been done and some samples he likes as well. He feels the mark is just being missed on how the house currently looks and the illegibility of the design. His tag line is "Move To What Moves You." I have also attached elements from his creative brief. The attachment that says "FAV CONCEPT" is the direction he is thinking but it's not quite there. I also think Vancouver Island encompassing his name in the middle might look good to and some sort of house element. I have attached some inspo samples as well. Thank you!

  • Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
  • Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)

This design should not have this in the entries

Colors. Just black and white for now. Not too complicated. Easy to read.
