Completely open at this point. Tend to stay away from primary colors. Masonry uses a lot of earthtones. Unless it looks blah! Maybe a trowel unless it looks trite and overused! Must be really unique, but recognizable to what we do.
The design should have the following
Want it so I can place it on a banner, photo etc and not have any white space around the logo in the final edition. No cartoonish characters. Let's try an icon with the name DIY Masonry incorporated somehow. Primarily designers discretion to start.

Average homeowner who wants to learn skills, save money, have a sense of ownership in their projects and also reaching out to other trades, remodelers, bloggers etc. Primarialy all online. When we blog, we just blog like we are talking to people.
