Describe your company and organization and target audience

We are a 3 generation family business founded in 1975. We sell air compressors, air dryers, drains, desiccant, filter elements, and more to remove contamination and moisture from compressed air lines. Our customers are mainly employees at manufacturing plants who manage compressed air (the compressed air helps operate the plant).

The design should have the following

The design should focus on the words COMPRESSOR SHOP. The text should be large and legible. Compressor Shop is an old term for a shop where you buy parts for your air compressor. I'd like to convey trust with being in business for so long. One idea was to have an old school sign that would've been on the door of a 1950's or 60's compressor shop. Also open to a more modern and bold design that looks tough and stands out. I'll be looking for a design that in the future will work in square and horizontal dimensions.

This logo will be used for

• Online (Website, facebook etc.)
• Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)

This design should not have this in the entries

I don't think I want a "Since 1975", "EST 1975", or similar, but you can include that as an option if that's possible. I would avoid pink, green, yellow, brown, and purple colors.

Colors to use in the design

Black, white and I'm currently open to red, orange, blue, or other.
