Aspire Communications
Describe your company and organization and target audience
Aspire Communications is a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) company selling services to home users and businesses across the United States. Our focus is in rural communities, where our target audiences will tend to be older for home users or small businesses (less than 50 employees). We aspire to provide not just telecommunication services, but to build a culture that our clients connect with. Similar companies to Aspire Communications are 8x8 (https://www.8x8.com/), RingCentral (https://www.ringcentral.com/), Nextiva (https://www.nextiva.com/), Vonage (https://www.vonage.com/), and Ooma (https://www.ooma.com/).
The design should have the following
Our company logo should convey a warmth of a hometown, neighborly, service that can be trusted. Because our company will primarily serve rural communities, we need our brand to connect to "main street America" not the major cities or suburbs. We believe a bluebird reflects these ideals, along with the natural tendency to link birds with communication (for example, Twitter). We would like to see a simplified bluebird as part of our logo (or mascot, you could say) similar to the hatchwise logo bird and Twitter of course. We do not want our logo confused with Twitter though and would prefer the bird to be part of the logo while able to be used standalone (for instance, as a favicon) and to be used in a more vertical designed layout. We have attached our sister company logos to give you an idea of what we mean.
This logo will be used for
- Online (Website, facebook etc.)
- Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
Colors to use in the design
#2E0C5F and #347FC4. These are the colors of our sister company, and while we are open to similar shades (for instance, #7D6B91 and #4C6085 are used as secondary colors by Atheral) we would like to stay with blue and a dark purple. We would also like the logo designed that if we make an all-white version for shirts or dark backgrounds, it will still look good.
