Did you know there are 2 kinds of fishing line on one fly reel? The first, or the Fly Line, is 2 colors, floats and makes a fishing reel look cool. The second line, or backing, rarely sees the water and is placed on the reel to bulk up the circumference and allow for easier retrieval of first more expensive line. There is little attention given to the color of the second line although it is very visible on the reel. We aim to fix that. Our clients can custom make a two-toned backer line that will accent their reel beautifully. Attach it to the arbor or center of the reel and voila, your reel is blooming with color!

See image one below for fly line and backing color reference (not married to these specifically, but love the complimentary and warm color). Text and reel can be any color that looks good. I have included image 2 for a reel that looks good.
