Can I just ask, why it is a design company is is not designing their own company logo?

You certainly may - we design the site set up, architecture, data bases etc. and match companies existing graphics and colors. For those that don't have graphic design we will be creating relationships with a few great graphics people who are fast, affordable and ready to roll via email or telephone with clients around the U.S. While we have basic photo shop skills, none of us are graphic artists in any stretch of the imagination. We are also too close to our own work and want to have input from professional graphic designers as we go forward. Make sense? Thanks for asking. Very good question.

The gray and the pinks are working, we are wondering what it would look like with gray, pink, purple, blue - a hue of the cooler color spectrums? Also, we like the font to flow, so think free and lively swoops on, at the very least the W's and the O in Wild Orchid Web the word design does not have to be prominent, it can even have a small d. Have fun, we are watching.

Nice try - but nope. We like seeing Wild Orchid Web design horizontally because of the subliminal sight of WoWd. The orchids aren't it yet.. but you are moving in a good direction!! Return to the intent around 50278 - horizontal pic left or pic right or pic through the logo line. Thanks to each of you for your creative genius at work here - VERY FUN start!!

i guess i wasn't terribly clear there. we want Wild Orchid Web design to be horizontal. The orchid thoughts or images can be left, right, above, below, or through the WOWd piece. There, that feels more clear. :-) Have FUN with it all!

think "wild" think "Wild Orchid Web design" horizontally and think of vibrant, multi hued orchids... these are all great, I guess you'd have to hear what a rowdy bunch of women we are that do this coding work to "get" our reflection as strong, vibrant women - one of a kind, each of us, just like orchids - there are four or five us of in the organization.

we do not want feminine as much as we want strong and elegant - simple or complex on the orchid, real or abstract - please do review the photos we've sent the links on - the magenta/purples are working for us, but it's okay to have blues, reds - stems that are more realistically brown/green if you have them at all. a simple line drawing would be interesting to see as well - good luck!

Shadow, we did see your comment - and we do like a different submission from that designer more than that one anyway. I do not know that the design does not belong to them, it could be a different screen name for that logo contest. I also notice that you have never submitted a design in a logo contest - so thanks but handle it as xpressions suggested in an admin forum.
