Describe your company and organization and target audience
We are a digital health and wellness newsletter publication. We will publish articles about all kinds of health & wellness ranging from nutrition to medicine to exercise to mental health and much more. We will appeal to an upscale, sophisticated, educated group of adults who spend time and resources investing in their health, well being and longevity. We will appeal to both men and women.
The design should have the following
Fresh, clean look. It should say "healthy" without saying healthy. We like FourWellness.co (it's a blog but we love the fresh look). We are very flexible. We like black font and/or other colors like greens. No gray (you're gray when you're dead - we want our look to say alive & healthy!).
We love a splash of color like orange or hot pink. Should not be too feminine or too masculine.
We like the idea of a block font OR a block font mixed with a script font. We are very flexible. We just want it to look fresh and clean and pretty and healthy!
We like the idea of an image along with the logo, like a clean leaf. One idea was a green leaf that looks watercolor-ish. Would love to see one or more variations with that.
This logo will be used for
- Online (Website, facebook etc.)
- Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
- Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
This design should not have this in the entries
No gray. Nothing drab or sad. No thick block fonts (not too bold). No clip art! Also we don't want to look like a dental clinic or a cannabis company (no leaf that looks like a marijuana leaf).
Colors to use in the design
Black font is ok. Greens are good (yellow greens, not blue greens). Splash of hot pink or bright orange is ok. Something that looks like veggies -- yellow and orange are citrusy. We like citrus.
