Describe your company and organization and target audience

I am primarily a writer. I want to be able to use this logo now and also later when the company expands into editing and publishing.

The design should have the following

I'm looking for something including a fox (naturally). Ideally the fox part of the logo can stand alone if it needs to as a brand mark, so I'd prefer designs that do not make the fox theme part of the name font. I hope that makes sense. Beyond that, the designing is up to you and I'm happy to work more closely with any individual designer whose style I like in order to get the exact finished product. I like mid-century artwork, retro styling - though this won't make or break the deal. Clean, crisp and stylish is what I'm after. I'm not too concerned whether it's in colour or black and white, so feel free to offer designs in either format or both. My stationery and webpages at this stage all have a white background. To have the logo emerging from the background, or working with it could be nice - but again, YOU'RE the designer, I'll see where you take me.

This logo will be used for

• Online (Website, facebook etc.)
• Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)

This design should not have this in the entries

Cartoony or stylised is ok, but nothing childish or cutesy. I know this is difficult because the description can be so subjective! If you go cartoony, and you can picture your design on a men's tie from the 1990s, you're on the wrong track! I mentioned mid-century design, but seriously nothing 1950s housewife, please.
