I have seen the incredible talent of the very creative designers on this site, and I am very excited (and most appreciative) about seeing what you come up with for this contest. I only wish we were already famous with a bigger budget so I could afford a larger prize. Thanks in advance for doing what you can with what we do have available now.

Does the "H" in the band's name have any specific meaning to it?

Well, nikzad, I joke that the "H" in the band name stands for either Heaven or Hell depending on how much you like our music, but beyond that I like to think of the H standing for Hope (for the potential in every one of our individual lives and for the human race as a whole).

The nice designs submitted thus far prompt these additional thoughts: if an icon is used that doesn't incorporate an upper case H, the full band name should be used including the upper case H. How 'bout some more ideas incorporating a street, road, old-fashioned street sign, etc. I love the way Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers' logo incorporates a heart (and guitar) and their band name. (See the merchandise store at tompetty.com for the logo). Thanks, folks!

This is my first contest so I'm still unfamiliar with the protocol: is it better to leave specific comments about specific designs to the designers individually (and if so, does that mean only they see them?), or should I leave all comments in this general area for all to see? Also, should I be scoring each design? Does that really help you?

It is better to leave comments in the specific designs and everyone can see them. The scores also are important as it helps everyone to check where they stand amongst all the submissions.
