Describe your company and organization and target audience

**We updated the brief to go back to our legal name of Stonewall Democrats of Dallas, but still want to consider the designs that have Dallas Stonewall Democrats**

Stonewall is the LGBTQ caucus of the Texas Democratic Party. We work to get LGBTQ members elected to state and local office and educate elected officials on the issues affecting our community. We lobby for legislation to protect members of our community and provide equal opportunities. The Dallas chapter is the largest and most influential in the state of Texas.

We would like to target a younger and excited audience. Something that says, "we classy but if you mess with us, we'll riot again"

The design should have the following

upside down Triangle[s]
50/50 on using the Dallas skyline (if it is a killer design go for it)

This logo will be used for

  • Online (Website, facebook etc.)
  • Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
  • Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
  • Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)

This design should not have this in the entries

No large D for democrats
No donkey's or horses (we have this now and it is confusing)

What style of logo would you like?

Colors to use in the design

Black and Pink triangles are common in Stonewall logos nationwide.
Our board is split on rainbow (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple) worrying on printing costs, however whichever logo wins we will need a rainbow version for pride and special events. I hope this isn't too much to ask.
We have had the same logo since the inception of the org. We are re-branding and really want to get this right. We need it to communicate, when looked at, that this is a LGBTQ organization one can get excited about.

Briefly describe your contest

Our chapters logo is outdated and confusing. We are ready for a modern fresh logo.
