Describe your company and organization and target audience

The SoCal Drone Zone (SCDZ) is the first drone only organization sanctioned by the Academy of Model Aeronautics (AMA). Our non-profit organization is dedicated to educating, training, building and flying multirotor drones for work and play. We fly quadcopters (4 motors), hexacopters (6 motors) and Octocopters (8 motors). We were formed to promote the use of commercial drones in the U.S. to perform jobs that are dull, dirty and dangerous.

The design should have the following

The logo we're looking for will communicate a serious but fun attitude. Our multirotor drones are the newest form of aeronautics but it's still an extension of what has come before. We respect our flying history but now have the latest technology to create a whole new category of flight. We prefer cherry and gray be the colors but if you have a design that cries for other colors, please send it.

This logo will be used for

• Online (Website, facebook etc.)
• Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
• Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
• Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)

This design should not have this in the entries

No fixed wing planes or single rotor helicopters please. Do NOT USE AN IMAGE OF A DRONE. Please incorporate a propeller to symbolize the drone.
