Describe your company and organization and target audience

Shore Boards is a Minnesota based company (aka. "Land of 10,000 Lakes") . We look to provide a website that allows the consumer to purchase Stand Up Paddleboards (aka SUPs), and other accessories. We also will provide on that very platform to custom build wooden Stand Up Paddle Boards to order. Stand Up Paddling is one of the largest growing watersports in MN, and we look to capatalize on the growing market. Our demographic is both men & women in the age range of 18-60 yrs old, with middle to higher income levels.

The design should have the following

When I think of the Shore Boards logo, I think of a vintage, classic, enviromentally conscious, wooden Stand Up Paddleboard that incorporates the Shore Boards name. I also want something that is fairly simple because we look to brand this logo on everything from the boards themselves to a clothing line (t-shirts, hats, etc.) to a beachwear line as well. So, it needs to be something that's distinguishable in a 1.5"-2" diameter at most.

This logo will be used for

Online (Website, facebook etc.)
Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)
Television/screen

This design should not have this in the entries

I don't want a lot of color (if any). This is due to the fact we'll be placing the logo onto wooden boards, and we don't want to take away from the beautiful colors of the boards by a distracting colorful logo. Plus, being we're looking to design beachwear, and a clothing line we don't want the colors to clash with the clothing designs, etc.
