can you give some more information about your company, such as....what exactly do you guys offer. Are you the company that's trying to get people to advertise with you via direct mail etc..?

ShopNWS Contest Holder

Our company specializes in both direct mail (print coupon magazines, email loyalty programs, postcards etc). We sell to local businesses that advertise with us in the above mediums. We are in process of creating a website that will be marketed to local consumers with coupons and specials from area merchants and businesses. Website will offer each business that advertises with us a business page that will include description of their business, pictures, menus and coupons. Also included will be ability for consumers to register (free) to receive our email newsletter with coupons attached to email, upcoming local events and blog entries that consumers can rate a business or provide comments. We will also utilize social media platforms and text messaging for consumers to receive additional offers or specials. We will utilize direct mail to both consumers and businesses to market our company. Primary use of this logo will be placement on our website as well as marketing materials that will be sent to both. No worries man just take off the tagline and were fine. I thought you might have been a new account made by someone recently banned for stealing designs, if your not I apologize I would not design court normally I would just ask you to remove it. I hope you can understand why I did that :(

I don't have any intention of excluding or banning any designer from this contest. I am looking for creative ideas as we launch our new website. I can say tagline that logoguru used did not come from me, and not even sure it will be one that we end up using. I am looking forward to seeing some great new designs. I would like to have winner chosen in the next couple days as I need to get logo and colors to web designer. Thanks again for everyone's submissions and work. I always enjoy seeing great creativity at work!

A couple things that may help with your designs. We have two customers we will end up serving. First is the business owners that we present our business model and services to them. Our ideal business customer is a small size locally owned business, restaurants, retail stores, auto repair and service as well as home improvement companies. The Second customer is the consumer that we want to communicate our services to. We can provide coupons and specials from the businesses that we serve via our website, email newsletters, coupon magazines and also text messaging. These customers will include female customers and families. Color Preferences: first will be burgundy and dark green, second darker navy blue with darker green. If design includes a shopping bag or house image with possibly families may be what we are looking for, although still open to any suggestions that you submit. Would love to see combination of both if possible as different entries. If image is placed to left of Shop the Burbs would be preference. We recently ran contest for RedZone360 that you can review to see other work including the winning entry. Thanks again for initial entries. I look forward to seeing some more great entries. Once we have chosen winner we will also place contest for business card and letterhead. More than likely we would use same winner of this contest.

Your not getting banned paistoopid. You just got design courted is all. If you get 3 marks from the design court you are banned from this site. I am sorry you weren't aware of the rules, but now you will realize looking at other entries and taking stuff from their entries is against the rules whether you knew it or not.

Hey ultimately since you seem to be sincere I am glad you were found not guilty. But in the future checking the highest rated entries then using their layout or things from their design is against the rules. The best way to ensure your going to be original is to read the brief then design your design. Always double check all the designs before hand and make sure there are none like the one your going to submit. If you follow these suggestions you shouldn't have any problems in the future. Thanks
