More than any other designer, I think you have the idea. I like the three dimensional nature for an app logo on a phone. I also like the map pin idea although I did not recognize it as a map pin until you told me. The baby character is cute, but I prefer the baby from the previous design. Please give it one more try.

Fun, engaging design with a lovely baby character. The serious side of the design is in the location map pin within the icon showing the parent where baby is at any time. Works on both light and dark backgrounds and any color can be applied there designs are arbitrary Best Quimcey
