I am opening my own stained glass and pottery shop. Will will sell glass and pottery supplies, as well as offer unique art pieces for sales as gifts and offer classes for those interested in learning how to do stained glass, fused glass and handbuilt pottery.

The design should have the following

Suan is both a play on my name (Susan with the middle S left out) and on the bird, Swan. I want the S in Suan to be an abstracted swan. I can attach some examples. The letters in Red Suan Gallery are to be red in color. The tagline is to be underneath, perhaps separated by a line. I attached an example of an abstracted Swan - but you cannot use this as it belongs to someone else. IT IS JUST AN EXAMPLE. I've also attached a hand drawing that I did. It is a terrible drawing, but I am giving you the idea that I would like the "u" and the "a" in "Suan" to be connected in such a way that when you look at the logo, it could be red "Suan" or "Swan." Red Suan has a special meaning to me and I want this as my gallery name, but I also know I need to strongly imply the word "Swan" through letters and design. I've purchased both URL's for this purpose as well.

This logo will be used for

• Online (Website, facebook etc.)
• Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
• Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
• Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)

This design should not have this in the entries

No other bright colors except the red. Thus, I am assuming it will need to be paired with white, black, grey, etc. Swan should NOT be cartoonish or be the actual animal. I am looking for a design on the "S" that immediately and clearly suggests the swan without it being an actual picture or exact representation of the swan. The logo should exude elegance and class with leanings toward artsy. NO pictures of canvas, paint brushes or anything of the sort. The swan should be the outstanding design element that drives the logo.

Colors to use in the design

Red Suan Gallery - to be in red (obviously). I am open to suggestions as to what other colors to pair with the red for the overall design.
