Describe your company and organization and target audience

This logo is for a group of kindergarten and first grade teachers to wear during Phonics Instruction.
The teachers are the Target Audience, but it should be colorful and appealing for children to look at.

The design should have the following

It should be a mesh of kiddie and gangsta. Imagine if teachers were in a street gang.... what type of logo would they wear standing on the corner reading their books and grading their papers, and what would be on their bandannas? Although they are not violent, none of the other gangs mess with them because they fear their intelligence and they are tough. The logo should have this feel to it.

This logo will be used for

Online (Website, facebook etc.)
Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
