Novo Venture Partners is an early stage venture capital company...ie we invest in 'young' startups and help them to grow into bigger companies.

"Novo" is Latin for "new" or more generally, "to build something new".

The design should have the following

I'm mainly looking for the design for the icon, which can either be an image, or the initial (NVP) presented in an image-like fashion.

The logo should include the full company name (Novo Venture Partners), but that can be just the name in a simple (sans-serif) font. (Similar to the font Google uses for their logo (Windlesham))...or incorporated more directly into the icon.

The industry is finance, so should be somewhat reserved/conservative (but not too much! ;). Some relevant examples that I like are below:

What style of logo would you like?

Colors to use in the design

I'm partial to Dark Blue, with maybe grey highlights, but open to other colors.

Except green.

Nothing too colorful.

I'm looking for a logo (icon or initials) design for my venture capital firm that focuses on early stage companies.
