Describe your company and organization and target audience

I need a logo designed for my website (www.myngl.com and the corresponding app) "Myngl".

Myngl will be a lifestyle and social community platform for "contemporary"(younger-looking, healthier, active, vibrant, not retired/may not be retiring any time soon, having children much, much later in life, etc).) singles over 45 years old, and will serve as a modern tool to foster human connection.

The Myngl site/app will facilitate meeting face to face, hosting/attending charity and social events, discussing relevant lifestyle topics (health, career, pregnancies later in life, etc). The goal of Myngl is to encourage face to face interactions for the purposes of making new friendships, attending events together, dating, marriage, and whatever else comes out of naturally socializing. The site will focus on honesty, integrity, and quality vs quantity of members.

TARGET AUDIENCE:
1) attractive, "youthful" singles (generally 45 - 80 years old) who do not box themselves into an outdated stereotype
2) singles/professionals (generally over 40 years of age) who frequently travel or relocate to other cities and have to start over again with making new social contacts with each trip/move.

The target audience is the "new reality' of contemporary 45+-year-old singles that can't be boxed into an "age group" or outdated social perception. These singles are attractive, much physically younger than they look, much healthier than the same age group a generation ago, may or may not have kids, are well-traveled and/or enjoy continuing to grow, generally have/had successful careers, and want to give back to the community.

The design should have the following

The design should be clean, modern, simple, welcoming and sophisticated, but not boring.

It would be great to have a hint of playfulness/connection to represent face to face interaction- but NOT solely for dating. If there is any way to convey all social connection types simply (friendship, event buddies, dating, business contacts, etc), that would be great!

The logo design should be simple enough to use on all types of media

This logo will be used for

• Online (Website, facebook etc.)
• Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
• Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
• Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)
• Television/screen

This design should not have this in the entries

I don't like fall colors (ie. maroons), or anything resembling the 70s (puke greens, yellows, etc).

Although the site is targeted for those over 45, age should NOT be a negative emphasis or focus of the logo, and the logo should NOT be similar to cheesy and outdated visuals and concepts used by "senior" dating sites such as "Silver Singles" and "Our Time"

Colors to use in the design

Whatever color(s) will work for the target audience and feel.. I like subtle to medium colors - but please no maroons or fall colors.
