Momma and Them is a bakeshop primarily selling premium gourmet cookies utilizing unique and big flavors. In the south there is an old saying - How's your mom'n'em? It is a polite and endearing question simply asking about your mom and the collective group of family. Each cookie has a unique name of a family member and a brief funny story about the person and cookie. They will be promoted with attitude and humor. Momma is the main character and "them" support her. The cookies will be sold online and available in all 50 states. I am targeting all ages and will focus on selling to businesses as gifts, etc.

The design should have the following

Since the name is a Southern Folksy saying. The image I want to project is one playing off the endearing, folksy aspect but present the company in a clean, modern premium look. People who have never heard the saying should at least understand the concept. The "Relatively Scrumptious" tagline exemplifies the company by playing off the word relative and in a tongue-in-cheek manner balance the over the top use of scrumptious to describe the cookies. The cookies will be shipped in an old fashion white bakery box and tied with the red and white bakery twine. Based on this, the logo should compliment the packaging and color red but am open to all ideas. One idea I had was a logo with in the center was a modern outline of a healthy older momma taking a bite out of a cookie with a smirk on her face.

This logo will be used for

• Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
• Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
• Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)

Colors to use in the design

Red and white. The bakery boxes are the old style basic white and tied with bright red and white bakery twine. The logo will be printed on a sticker placed on the white box.

I've added some ideas for logos that I have seen. I like the clean lines of the logo file but would need to stand out more.
