CH: If you are only going to deal with the one designer, then why the contest? This started out as a negative comment but the first designer, instead of just passing it by, they made a negative comment. CH, there are those of us who do want to make you a logo you will love, but we need details, and constant feedback so we know what direction to go. :)

PS, and you asking a designer for their email so you can deal just with them is not fair to any of us. I certainly will design a logo for less than $100 and I have done so in the past, but I don't feel like putting any hours of work into this contest because of the negativity and your wanting to work behind our backs with another designer already, not giving any of the rest of us a chance.

If you read my post just above your comments, you will see I am offering this to EVERYONE. I'm offering to ALL designers who would like more specific information. I do not have an option to post examples of what I want thus why I am offering to email specifics. There is also not an option to change or edit "contest details." When I began the contest I was unsure of exactly what I wanted. Now I know.

Mississippi Salt LLC is a legitimate business. I have a federal and sales tax id #s. I have a business address, phone, fax, etc. mississippisalt.com is a registered domain. My web guy wants me to get the logo complete before he designs the rest of the site. Hope I have clarified all your concerns.

Also, I have received four email addresses from designers and all four designers have received my specifics. No one has yet to produce a logo as a result of the information sent.

Mississippisalt, I do not know what you are looking for, and quite frankly, I'm not going to sit here reading comments on other designers entries, because half of the comments are from them to you. Your comment to them is directing them on their design, which does not help the rest of us. Please give us specifics. What colors appeal to you? What style...fancy, bold, plain, country, western, city, urban, clean, simple, scrolls, unusual font, what would you like to see as an icon... things like that. This is the space to put it. Thanks.

So there is about seven hours left. I am really struggling with the "right" logo. I am LOVING the idea of using a "scroll design" and not using an actual gift box or bow. Whatever scroll design I choose, I want to make sure I can use it "blown up," as a pattern or even break it apart and use "pieces" of the scroll design. FORGIVE ME for not knowing EXACTLY what I want. This is such a tough decision.
