Designers: - We are seeing many variations of maple leaves in the entries. It would be nice to see more options with the creative use of trees in the icon. - Script font is not a desirable option due to the signage needing to be easily read from the street or passing vehicle.

Designers: When using a maple leaf in the logo design please avoid the "typical" Canadian Leaf icon as Maple Glenn Market's niche is local and sustainable sourced goods. Canada does not match up with the story.

Magpie and Designers - I can see why that would be confusing by my comments. I think there are ways to use a maple leaf (many styles or varieties) without leaning towards the iconic Canadian Maple leaf. I am trying to rate the entries based on the overall "look" as well as the application for future branding. I also understand that the logo I pay for may still need to be fine tuned / tweaked or expanded upon. I am also taking the time to view each of the high rated designer's portfolio. I may be making this more difficult than it is supposed to be, but I do value each designer's entry even if it doesn't align with my branding vision.
