Describe your company and organization and target audience

Hi everyone. My company does custom laser engraving, etching and cutting. We etch artwork, photos, text or just about anything visual onto surfaces ranging from the back of phones such as the iPhone to tablets & laptops. The surfaces we cover are endless...metal, wood, stone, glass and so on. We also do laser cutting of thinner woods and acrylics. The surfaces are marked without actually ever being touched. The laser fires light onto the specified surface burning away (etching/engraving) the top layer thus leaving a permanent mark. Millions of these marks will combine to create a complete image onto the desired surface. Since normally an item would need to be hit or struck with something physical to leave a mark, I came up with the name Light Struck Laser since all that hits or strikes the surface is light... laser light. I look forward to seeing all the creative concepts that all of you come up and making one of them the logo that proudly represents my company. Thanks in advance for bringing your best to the table.

The design should have the following

I envision a powerful fist, maybe made of light or a laser beam or bolt of light turning to a fist. Maybe a fist with light rays, bolts or sparks coming off it. I don't want to say too much as I fear that may restrict the creative process to a narrow path. In looking for total creativity with the logo itself as well as font choice. I'm open to other ideas than that of a fist so show me all you got.

This logo will be used for

• Online (Website, facebook etc.)
• Print (business cards, letterheads, brochures etc.)
• Merchandise (mugs, t-shirts etc.)
• Signs (including shops, billboards etc.)
